MIX11 here I come!

I’m pretty chuffed to be invited by Microsoft to MIX11 off the back of Art Spot. Such a simple game though we did try to pack it with lots of nice bits :) This is my first time attending MIX so I’m not 100% sure what to expect but I’ve been to other Microsoft conferences and been suitably impressed. It’s also my first time in Las Vegas so I’m looking forward to seeing some high rollers. Maybe I’ll meet one who’ll double down on a new indie – I think we’ll be offering better odds than the casinos!

Checking out the schedule, I see they’ve added a bunch of Windows Phone 7 sessions – I wonder if there will be something exciting to continue the momentum generated by the Nokia announcement? Here’s hoping as Windows Phone 7 is such a great platform to develop for and Nokia just might help kick it into the big league.

I’m also ready to lose my speed dating cherry. Thought I’d never have the opportunity, but it doesn’t look like The Whizzes will violate any of the Terms of Agreement with my wife ;) The parties might be another story but I’m more likely to bore any potential suitors with endless pictures of my beautiful daughter than anything else. It’s going to be a hard first trip away from my baby girl!

People Pilot Announces Launch

The time has come for People Pilot to emerge from the undergrowth. We've dipped our little toes into the waters of indie game development and found them a little murky, a little slippery, but ultimately very satisfying.

So now it's time to take the plunge and see if we can make a splash!
